I am currently working in Izmir Democracy University Department of Environmental Protection Technologies. I have graduated from Hacettepe University Chemical Engineering Department, Ankara, Turkey in 2004. Then I received my MSc and Ph.D. degrees from Ege University Bioengineering Department, Izmir, Turkey. I worked as visiting scholar at the University of Montreal, Canada, and also had some visiting researcher experiences in ATB Institute, Berlin Germany, and the East University of Paris, France. My area of expertise is Environmental biotechnology with a focus on Bioconversion of organic wastes into Biofuels, especially on Biohydrogen. I am interested in the valorization of organic waste materials, wastewater, and polluted air with syngas fermentation technologies.
