Samane is currently an Assistant Professor at the School of Mechanical Engineering, Iran University of Science and Technology (IUST). She received her PhD in Mechanical Engineering from University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT) in Canada. Before joining IUST in 2018, she had served for several years as a postdoctoral fellow researcher and lecturer at the Clean Energy Research Laboratory (CERL), Ontario Tech University, and University of Alberta in Canada, working on life cycle assessment and economic analysis of various energy conversion pathways, energy storage, heat transfer, and thermodynamic analysis of renewable-based hydrogen production systems. She has (co-)authored several peer-reviewed journal and conference papers.
