Joyce is an international development practitioner with 10+ years’ Africa-wide experience leading communications for impactful human-centered programs. She has vast experience in policy and communications, public affairs, partnership building, influencing, and movement building.

She is an effective communicator with proven cross-sector expertise in energy, natural resources, community resilience and preparedness, governance and accountability, inequality, food security and livelihoods, gender, and humanitarian response.

She previously supported the USAID-funded Power Africa East Africa Energy Program under the primary contractor RTI International. She also worked with Oxfam International as a Media and Communications Advisor for the Kenya office.

Ms. Kabui is a graduate student at Cornell University Global Development program, where she is studying the potential of green hydrogen in Kenya. She is a recipient of the Joint Japan World Bank Graduate Scholarship Program (JJWBGSP.) Joyce holds a MA in Communication from United States International University (USIU) Africa and a BA from Daystar University, Kenya.
