Farzana is a Process Engineer (specialising in flow assurance) with 14+ years’ experience in the oil and gas industry. Her experience spans all project design phases, from concept select to operations support, with a strong technical background focusing on flow assurance and process engineering. She holds a double degree in Chemical Engineering and Finance and has worked on a multitude of projects in both local design offices, and on-site in construction and commissioning roles. She is currently working at Intecsea / Worley with prior roles at Chevron, Genesis Oil & Gas, Granherne, amongst others.

Farzana has recently being elected as Chairperson of WISE (Women in Subsea Energy - a subset of SEA (Subsea Energy Australia)). The Wise Professional Network is a non-for-profit organisation which aims to achieve gender equity through growing the profile of women in STEM roles. WISE promotes strategies and initiatives to “Attract, Retain, Develop, and Promote” women within the Energy and Engineering Industry.

Within Worley she has been appointed co-chair of Women of Worley (WoW) for WA & NT. As a woman from a STEM and technical industry background she is passionate about promoting women in leadership and STEM based roles by helping them grow their profiles, providing them opportunities and a support network.
