Since 2021 Farhanja Wahabzada is Senior Project Manager for the project "Business Alliance Energy" at the Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), which aims at contributing to the market ramp-up of green hydrogen. Before, she was Advisor within the global project “Bilateral Energy Partnerships” for five years where she was among others responsible for the cross-cutting issue of Power-to-X. She led the Secretariat of the German-Moroccan Energy Partnership on behalf of the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy. In this function she advised on the development of the Moroccan Green Hydrogen Roadmap and potential sustainable projects. Before joining the GIZ she worked three years in the field of economic development and led the Country Desks Department at the Arab-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Farhanja Wahabzada holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the Philipps University in Marburg.
