I am an energetic and ambitious scientist and expert on renewable resources and sustainable conversion processes. As an experienced manager, I have many years of experience in initiating and managing projects in the field of bioeconomy and green chemicals. My passion is using my know-how and expertise to benefit other people and projects.
Strengthening the networking of women in this area. More cooperation, own projects, career opportunities, more women in management positions
I studied chemistry at Friedrich-Schiller University in Jena and at University of Northumbria at Newcastle upon Tyne. After my PhD thesis and postdoctoral work at the University of Heidelberg and Stuttgart, I was employed at Fraunhofer for 11 years, where I worked in various positions. As head of the Renewable Resources Division at the Fraunhofer-Center for Chemical-Biotechnological Processes, I was responsible for numerous projects for biorefinery concepts, CO2 use and green hydrogen conversion. Since 2020, I have been head of Research and Development for the energy and chemical company Romonta, a subsidiary of the GETEC Group. My focus is on the development and implementation of strategies for the economic and sustainable orientation of the business areas.
