I am a subject-matter expert (SME) in hydrogen production technologies. I provide SME to business-driven project ideation, working cross-function with business developers, commercial and strategy teams, and engineers and scientist. I contribute to shape early project opportunities on hydrogen, assess hydrogen technologies to achieve net zero operations, and evaluate venture opportunities and future low-carbon technologies.
Before joining bp, I worked more than ten years in highly prestigious research institutions in areas related to the thermocatalytic conversion of carbon-based fuels, with emphasis on production of hydrogen via methane reforming and pyrolysis and gasification of biomass. I have a MEng in Chemical Engineering and a PhD in Energy Engineering. My thesis was on Microwave-assisted CO2 reforming of methane to produce hydrogen.
