I completed a BSc degree and PhD in Chemistry in Ireland at the University of Galway, spent a short period working at Penn State University and at the University of Southern California in the US and I currently work in the Department of Chemistry at Maynooth University.
I teach various courses on Electrochemistry, Materials Chemistry, and supervise a large research group with various projects in the general area of Electrochemistry, spanning sensing devices to renewable hydrogen.
