I am an Energy Economist with expertise along the energy and H2 value chain ranging from generation to transmission and trading, focusing on Strategy, M&A, Regulatory Affairs, and Market Development.
Networks for women are always relevant for exchange and support but in male-dominated industries like ours, they become vital to enhance visibility of female experts and support talents.
After gaining my Master's in Economics Engineering from German KIT and collecting initial experience from working in the energy transmission sector, I moved to roles in Strategy and M&A in the utilities space and later energy wholesale trading, where I led the back office for Eastern Europe and Eurasia for a leading European fuel wholesaler. During the years, I have always kept the connection to hydrogen from developing strategy projects to business development and working in organization such as Hydrogen Europe.
In my current role as Head of Markets in PtX at Topsoe, a leading technology provider for hard-to-abate sectors, I am in charge of strategy projects across the PtX space, ranging from electrolysis to production of e-ammonia, e-methanol, and e-SAF.
