Shulene-Mari Plaatjies

I am an advocate in practice and an LLM candidate at UCT. My passion lies in advocating for people, particularly marginalized groups. Recently, I have developed a keen interest in green hydrogen and am currently researching its development in the Northern Cape, South Africa.

Women play a crucial role in the green hydrogen sector. Their inclusion ensures diverse perspectives and innovative solutions, enriching the talent pool and advancing sustainability goals. By empowering women in this field, we promote equal opportunities, leadership development, and positive community impact, driving progress towards a more inclusive and sustainable future.
