It is not possible to develop energy transition projects if only one point of view is considered. Women are important to achieve energy transition and sustainable development.
Rocio is an Electrical Engineer, focused on power systems from the Universidad de Chile. Between 2017 and 2018, she did an exchange at l’École CentraleSupélec (Ex Centrale Paris) – Université Paris Saclay to study renewable energies.
She has experience in the technical-economic analysis of energy systems, optimization models, and power system planning, areas in which she worked during her thesis, developed with SPEC Energy Consulting for the National Energy Commission of Chile. This work led her to co-author an article published by SPEC discussing new transmission expansion alternatives with energy storage systems.
In her career at Hincio, she’s been working on techno-economic studies, pilot projects, and site assessment for Power-to-X projects, mainly for green ammonia production and mobility.
