Hydrogen is monopolizing decision makers around the world! And this year Hydrogen is on my agenda at work! Project managing the development of UAE position on Hydrogen through stakeholder engagement and preparation of UAE's international dialogue on this topic across bilateral and multilateral forums. In addition, I am currently a doctoral candidate with the School of Governance at the Technical University of Munich and my research focus is on the politics of hydrogen energy policy.

I am excited to lead the development of a collaborative program for the Integrated Energy Model for the Energy Outlook.

I am among the national climate change task force and national focal point to the UNFCCC and attending the climate change negotiations since 2015 and Paris Agreement. As part of the national task force, I have worked on the first Nationally Determined Contributions for the UAE. My main areas of focus are mitigation, MRV and Article 6 under the Paris Agreement.

In addition, I prepare the position papers and participate in the Clean Energy Ministerial, Mission Innovation and other bilateral engagements for the UAE. My global perspectives on sustainability is enhanced through my role within the SDG team from the Ministry to manage the reporting of Goal 7 on affordable and clean energy. I have also gained the political overview of the geopolitics around energy through the participation in the Global Commission on the Geopolitics of the Energy Transformation.

Over the years I have grown in my career from a research assistant during my Master's program to a Project Manager who is assigned key stakeholder management where strategic inputs and diplomacy are crucial.
