Rebekka Elisabeth Hilz-D’bichi

Rebekka Elisabeth Hilz-D'bichi is Program Director for the H2.SA project supporting the development of a green hydrogen economy in South Africa. Her role involves overseeing green hydrogen project activities and contributing to sustainability cooperation in the sector. She has previously served as head of the energy portfolio at GIZ Algeria, and active for GIZ in Algeria from February 2017 to April 2024. Rebekka has a strong background in international cooperation, renewable energy, and sustainable development, which has contributed to enhancing energy relations between Germany and its partner countries. Rebekka holds a Diploma in International Economics from Eberhard-Karls-Universität Tübingen, specializing in various economic and energy policy aspects.
