Consulting in the Space Industry as a QMS, Compliance and International Standards Specialist
Current research: Space sustainability
My expertise covers sector-level infrastructure and business ecosystems, education frameworks, supply chain operations and quality management systems.
I connect ideas, people, and systems - working at the intersection of QMS, operations, economics, law/compliance standards, and then ecosystems or societies in the fast-evolving space, defense, and energy industries. With over 25 years’ experience across sectors like engineering, space, law enforcement covert ops, maritime, financial services, education, start-ups and non-profits, I help turn complex challenges into opportunities for innovation, growth and solid stewardship.
My work ranges from hands-on projects to designing a range of frameworks. My recent development work is around the 'African Space Identity' series; and then the global/regional Trade Rules applied to segments and roles in the Space industry ecosystem. Also, current research is on the Space Industry Dynamics Index (SIDI), which helps measure and guide the progress of national space sectors. I lead open-access knowledge initiatives and am privileged to share insights as a lecturer with the African Space Leadership Institute (ASLI) as well as contribute to the efforts of the AIAA Space Sustainability Task Force.
I stand for lifelong learning, fair access to knowledge, collaborative leadership, and holding people to a high standard. With an energetic interest in ecosystem frameworks, systems thinking, and sustainable development, I enjoy learning new things everyday about what it means to pursue (and acquire) fair, responsible access to space.
