Monica Saraiva Panik, 62 years old, Brazilian citizen living in Germany since 23 years. Graduated in Social Communications at Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado, master degree in Marketing Administration Fundação Getúlio Vargas. Worked 18 years for the automotive industry in Brazil and 16 years as project manager of the UNDP/GEF 'Hydrogen Fuel Cell Buses for Urban Transport in Brazil’. Winner of the DaimlerChrysler Umweltpreis 2001 with the “Clean Air Initiatives in Developing Countries”. Contributed for: “World Bank Clean Air Initiative in Latin American Cities”, “UNDP Introduction of Fuel Cell Technology in Emerging Megacities” and “EU Controlling Urban Mobility Europe/Latin America” programs. Article writer in the UN Sustainable Development “The Air is Global” in 2000 and in the Book “Ônibus Brasilieiro a Hidrogênio” in 2009. Co-organized the 22nd WHEC in Rio de Janeiro 2018. In 2020, contributed for the Hydrogen Sectormapping Brazil study and is the Director of Institutional Relations of the Brazilian Hydrogen Association and Curator of the Energy Transformation Hydrogen Core at the BW Expo Summit Digital.
