The next frontier of advancement in the world today is being pushed by innovation. Women have to be the thought leaders, the catalyst and the important link to sustainable development. When women are at the table, they deliver science and technology that takes society forward.

I am an emerging farmer developing our farm to produce and generate hydrogen as a source of energy and green ammonia. I am a policy analyst, policy advocate, policy campaigner. I am a researcher looking at how we can produce seeds and food better. Living in a country with platinum metal group, I am searching for sustainable ways to utilize this metal. I have coordinated the gender and trade network in Africa bringing together women from 28 countries to understand the WTO trade agreements, and created a trade literacy manual that explains the advantages and challenges of the Agreement on Agriculture, Services, and TRIPS. I have extensive experience in international relations, served as a former diplomat to Canada and Japan. I believe women can innovate hydrogen products in the public interest. I am at the table in conversations for developing smart cities, smart textiles and smart agriculture. I am committed to being a fire starter of dialogues that harness the capacity of women to break cultural, structural, and societal barriers that block women from contributing their unique ideas, academics, passion, opinions that can disrupt models of doing that are inimical to growing healthy societies and industries. I am an active bold voice that claims space for women as thought leaders. My daughters must live in a world where they can walk and occupy space, influence it and be listened to.
