I'm a PhD Researcher at the Nano and Molecular Systems Research Unit , University of Oulu. My main focus is to develop novel characterization methods for catalytic reaction: methanol-to-hydrocarbon (MTH) reaction. This reaction has applications on fuel and plastic industry, providing solutions for cleaner future.

I do molecular level research on MTH reaction using spectroscopic methods; photoelectron photoion coincidence (PEPICO) spectroscopy. In addition, I have experience in time-of-flight (TOF) mass spectrometry, electron energy loss (EELS) spectroscopy, electron and ion spectroscopy, both on a laboratory and synchrotron scale.

I have a Master’s degree in Physics with a specialization in Molecular and Materials Physics. During this degree, I acquired hands-on experience in electron energy loss spectroscopy (EELS) and its application in the detection of xylene isomers.

In addition, I have a Bachelor’s degree in Physics with a specialization in Physics and Mathematics Education. However, my Bachelor's thesis was in particle physics with a title "Bottom quark meson's decay and Standard Model".
