Head of Green Hydrogen
Michaela Leonhardt, doctoral degree in mathematics, expert in renewable energy and new technologies. As head of the new Green Hydrogen business unit at Burgenland Energie AG, she is responsible for the development of the hydrogen division, strategic cooperations and partnerships, as well as for the implementation of national projects for large-scale hydrogen production.
Previously, from 2021 to 2023, Head of Renewable Hydrogen at Wien Energie GmbH, and from 2012 to 2021 at the Austrian transmission system operator Austrian Power Grid AG (APG) in the field of security of electricity supply, with a focus on the stability of the electricity system and the integration of renewable energy sources.
