In 2021, she earned a Double Doctorate through a collaboration between the Autonomous University of the State of Mexico (UAEMex) and the University of Castilla-La Mancha (UCLM) in Spain, obtaining a PhD in Environmental Sciences from UAEMex and a PhD in Chemical and Environmental Engineering from UCLM. From 2016 to 2018, she pursued a Master’s in Environmental Sciences at UAEMex, during which she completed a research stay at the Laboratory of Electrochemistry and Environmental Engineering at UCLM in 2017. She received her Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from the Faculty of Chemistry at UAEMex in 2011.

Currently, she is working as a postdoctoral researcher at Los Alamos National Laboratory, where she was awarded the prestigious Los Alamos Director’s Postdoctoral Fellowship.
