Professor, in IFBA, Brazil.

As Professor, in the Electrical Department of IFSP Campus Sao Paulo, Brazil, I conducted assignments and discussions on the environmental impacts of alternative energy generating projects (biomass, wind, hydraulic, solar, photovoltaic), on the Brazilian Energy Balance (BEN), on the energy supply in the northern region of Brazil, on ISO 50001 (Energy management), and on climate change. The social and political approaches were supported by Environmental Justice principles, ESG and ISO 26000 principles. Previously, as Lead Auditor (IRCA) of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards, I audited the activities involving manufacture of chemicals, food products, rubber, plastics, pulp, paper, cement, information technology, engineering services, hotels, and restaurants for Bureau Veritas. In the pulp industry, where I worked for 11 years, I developed tools for improving process control, meeting quality requirements, water reuse, and providing industrial management data to operators, supervisors, managers, and directors. I have more than 20 years of experience and oriented studies on themes of Sustainability in Brazil, in industry and academia. I am PhD in Natural Resources and Msc in Environmental Technologies.
