Margaret is an Operations Officer in the Climate Business Department at the International Finance Corporate (IFC). As a member of the Climate Business Department, Margaret’s priorities are to identify investment opportunities in new climate sectors and, provide support on climate-related business development. Her current portfolio focuses on industrial decarbonization with green hydrogen, scaling offshore wind and energy storage, in emerging markets. Prior to joining the Climate Business Department, Margaret worked with the Upstream team at the IFC, providing project development support to private infrastructure projects at an early stage of development, including scaling pilot business models, to ensure these projects are balanced, bankable and sustainable.

Prior to joining IFC, Margaret was with General Electric (GE) Power and the African Development Bank.

Margaret is a chartered certified accountant with a master’s degree in e-business management from the University of Warwick, UK and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Babcock University.
