I am Head of Office at World Energy Council – Germany with a focus on the (evolving) global hydrogen market, on national hydrogen strategies & on international hydrogen partnerships all over the world.
I started working for the World Energy Council – Germany in 2020. The World Energy Council (WEC) is the largest global energy network covering all energy sources and technologies with Member Committees in over 90 countries all over the world. In September 2020, WEC Germany published a study on „International Hydrogen Strategies“ where we analysed various government strategies on hydrogen to derive trends for a potential global H2 market.
Before joining the WEC network, I worked as Senior Consultant for energy, environment and mobility at the EPA European Berlin Brüssel Political Affairs GmbH, a strategic consultancy based in Berlin, and as Policy Advisor for Matthias Groote, MEP, in the Committee on the Environment of the European Parliament in Brussels and Strasbourg. I am co-author of the book “Flüssiggas und BioLPG in der Energiewende” (VDE VERLAG, 2020).
I hold a Master’s degree in International Studies / Peace and Conflict Research and a Bachelor’s degree in European Studies.
