From Capitol Hill to the corporate boardroom to the Midwest farms, Linda Thrasher understands what it takes to launch a Fortune 500 corporation and develop a multi-million-dollar company from the ground up.
A co-founder of Greenfield Nitrogen, LLC, the first large scale farmer-sponsored green hydrogen / ammonia facility in the Midwest, Thrasher is leading the company through the final stages of development and financing of the zero-carbon facility, one of the first in the United States.
Prior to Greenfield, Thrasher was a founding executive of The Mosaic Company, a Fortune 500 crop nutrients company. She also has served as the Director of Public Policy for Cargill, Incorporated. Thrasher began her career as a legislative staff member on Capitol Hill.
Committed to community involvement, Thrasher has volunteered her service and leadership expertise to organizations that promote education for girls and women as well as local food and low carbon products. Thrasher received her Bachelor of Arts degree in English and political science from St. Catherine University and her Juris Doctor from Mitchell Hamline College of Law. In 2018, she received the Distinguished Alumni Award from St. Catherine University.
