Liana Roopnarine is leading Strategy and Special Projects at GLEAC, an Edtech startup in the UAE and will be driving digital and data transformations critical to the global energy transition. She has over 14 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry within major oil companies in Europe and South America spanning engineering, supply chain management, optimization, business development, project management, operations, asset management, CCUS and H2. She holds Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and Master of Science in Engineering Asset Management both from the University of the West Indies in Trinidad and Tobago. She is a registered engineer (R.Eng) by profession and is extremely passionate about Diversity, Equity and Inclusion as she voluntarily chairs the D&I section for the local chapter of the Society of Petroleum Engineers in Trinidad and Tobago.
