Dr. Karla María Muñoz Páez has been working as Researcher at CONACYT- Instituto de Ingeniería-UNAM, since 2018. Her current research focuses on hydrogen production from organic wastes and biological biogas upgrading. She received the Ph.D. degree in Biotechnology in 2015 from Centro de Investigación y de Estudios Avanzados, México. She has professional experience in wastewater treatment plants.
