Kajol is a Manager with the Energy program at WRI India. Based out of the Bengaluru office, she works towards ensuring the enhancement of clean energy in industries, and towards successful progress for the energy transition in India. Her primary focus is integrating energy efficiency and clean energy activities in C&I customers, partner organizations, regulators, and utilities. Her current focus is on the role of new technologies in energy transition including green hydrogen at the national and sub-national level and collaborations with a global network of think tanks for research publications.

Prior to joining WRI India, Kajol worked as Assistant Director at the National Productivity Council (Ministry of Commerce and Industry). There, she focused on policy advocacy and consultancy services in energy efficiency and sustainable development for large industries, MSMEs, and utilities. She holds a master’s in technology from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
