I have studied chemistry in my master’s program with a focus on physical organic chemistry. In my Ph.D., I focused on electrochemistry and worked on optimizing membrane electrode assemblies for high-temperature proton exchange membrane fuel cells at the Helmholtz Institute Erlangen-Nuremberg for Renewable Energy. Currently, I am an Application Development Engineer with the Chemours company and have extensive experience in membrane development, manufacturing, and electrochemically characterizing membrane electrode assemblies for proton exchange membrane fuel cells and electrolyzers. I am leading projects in Nafion™ membrane research at Chemours and EU-funded projects on behalf of Chemours. Besides research, I love singing, playing violin, composing, martial arts, and exercising.
