hySOLUTIONS GmbH / Project manager
Hamburg

I am a project manager at hySOLUTIONS responsible for international projects addressing the full value chain of green hydrogen and with a particular focus on industrial applications. I have a background in crystal growth, spectroscopy, optics and laser development for research and large research facilities. I graduated in physics from the University of Pisa in Italy, acquired my PhD (Dr. rer. nat.) in laser physics at the Universitaet Hamburg and pursued my postdoctoral activities at DESY, Deutsches Elektronen-Synchrotron in Hamburg, Germany. Afterwards, I moved from R&D to scientific management to coordinate a consortium of funding agencies in the field of astroparticle physics where the German Ministry of Education and Research was represented. Before joining hySOLUTIONS, I was project leader at EPIC, the European Photonics Industry Consortium, coordinating all the activities related to the more than 150 laser-company members and laser applications, including business development, technology scouting and being work-package leader of three EU-funded projects.
