Fernanda holds a PhD in Energy Planning, a Master’s degree in Information Technology, and a Master’s degree in International Finance. She is the author of four books, numerous chapters, and several articles published on the energy sector and Petropolitics. She also serves as a Board Member of the Education Council at the Rio de Janeiro Commercial Association.

With more than 20 years of experience in the energy sector, Fernanda has built a solid career in leading organizations in Brazil and abroad, such as IBP, Petrobras, Deloitte, Vale SA, Vale Óleo e Gás, Universidade Gama Filho, and Dickinson. She is skilled in managing large multidisciplinary teams, developing business plans, conducting financial feasibility studies, and evaluating projects. She has extensive expertise in people management, strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, business analysis, financial valuation, and competitive intelligence. At IBP, she served as Executive Director, responsible for corporate management, governance, and financial results, leading a team of over 130 employees.

Fernanda also coordinates “Sim, Elas Existem” and EMPODEREC, programs dedicated to female inclusion and equity in the energy sector.

She frequently contributes articles to Conjuntura Econômica (IBRE/FGV), EPBR, Agência Broadcast (Estadão), as well as to international publications such as Geopolitics of Energy (Canadian Energy Research Institute – CERI) and the EUCERS Newsletter at King’s College London.
