Green hydrogen and energy systems researcher in Germany
In my opinion, It is important because the hydrogen sector is still emerging, and this is exactly the moment when diversity can shape how the industry develops. The energy transition requires not only technological innovation but also inclusive perspectives, interdisciplinary collaboration, and equitable participation in decision-making.
The network creates visibility for women experts, facilitates knowledge exchange, and supports mentoring and collaboration across research, industry, and policy. It helps connect professionals working on different aspects ; from technical development to sustainability assessment and implementation.
I am a researcher at IZES gGmbH (Institute for Future Energy and Material Flow Systems) in Germany, working at the intersection of renewable energy systems, the energy transition, and sustainability assessment. My work focuses on the role of green hydrogen in integrated energy systems, particularly its potential for sector coupling, industrial decarbonization, and long-term energy storage.
I am involved in research and innovation projects that investigate the technical, environmental, and systemic impacts of hydrogen technologies, with a strong emphasis on energy system modeling. I have authored several peer-reviewed publications on hydrogen-related topics and also contribute to editorial activities.
