Dr. Ervin Tal-Gutelmacher is the C.E.O of HydroLite Ltd., an Elbit Systems Subsidary, focusing on leading-edge development of advanced hydrogen technologies. With 20 years of experience in hydrogen and energy-related innovation, leadership and execution, project management, steering committees, consortiums and bilateral projects with industrial and academic partners, Dr. Tal-Gutelmacher leads and paves the company’s current and future direction towards development and deployment of advanced alkaline exchange membrane fuel cells and electrolysis technologies and devices.
Ervin holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering from the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev (Israel). Prior to her C.E.O. and former V.P. R&D and C.T.O roles at HYDROLITE, she held positions as R&D manager at Elbit Energy Systems and formerly as Alexander von Humboldt and Minerva Research Fellow at the University of Gottingen (Germany). She is a member of Materials Research Society (MRS), Minerals, Metals & Materials Society (TMS), and Deutsche Gesellschaft für Materialkunde (DGM), holds numerous patents, several prestigious national and international awards and hundred of scientific contributions in journal and conference publications.
