Emily Herbert

Green Hydrogen specialist and consultant, seeking to build connections with like-minded women.

Consultant at Brightsmith

As a woman who studied and worked in the male-dominated field of science before transitioning into the recruitment industry, I have always been passionate about promoting diversity and inclusion. Throughout my career, I have seen firsthand how gender and other forms of bias can limit opportunities for underrepresented groups. This has inspired me to use my skills and experience to help create a more equitable and inclusive future.

At Brightsmith, we are dedicated to delivering high-performing and diverse teams for our clients. We understand that companies benefit from having diverse perspectives and experiences represented in their teams, and we are committed to using our platform to showcase this. Our goal is to create a more inclusive and sustainable industry that benefits everyone.

To further this mission, we host a podcast called 'Conversations in Cleantech,' where we discuss the latest trends and developments in the green hydrogen space and highlight the diverse voices and perspectives driving innovation in the field. Through this podcast, we hope to amplify the voices of underrepresented groups, promote diversity and inclusion in the industry, and inspire the next generation of leaders in clean technology.

As part of my personal efforts to build a more inclusive industry, I am eager to connect with like-minded women in the green hydrogen space. I believe that building meaningful relationships and supporting one another is crucial to creating a more equitable and sustainable future for all. I am always open to conversations with those who share my values and am committed to using my experience and platform to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion in the industry.
