Elena Vyazmina

Dr. Elena Vyazmina obtained a PhDd in Chemical Engineering in 2007 (Ishlinsky Institute for Problems in Mechanics, Russian Academy of Science) and in Fluid Mechanics in 2010 (Ecole Polytechnique, France). In 2010 she joined Air Liquide R&D and focused on hydrogen and oxygen safety. She became an Internal Expert in 2014 and International Expert in 2020 . She has developed strong skills in modeling of outdoors and indoors dispersion and explosion hazards. She has also worked on the dimensioning of corresponding mitigation barriers to reduce hazard consequences. She also performed modeling of refueling of hydrogen tanks. Elena also coordinates internal project on hydrogen safety and hydrogen refueling station. Elena is a member of the European Hydrogen Safety Panel. She has authored 21 peer- reviewed articles and 56 conference papers. Elena was awarded a Golden Medal of Russian Academy of Science in 2007
