Elaine has over 20 years of private equity experience in the US and Asia. She is actively involved in strategy formulation and implementation, business development, and capital market transactions.
Prior to co-founding Hydrogen Capital Partners, Elaine co-founded HAO Capital, a China-focused Growth Equity Fund. Previously, she was with the Carlyle Group in both Washington DC and Hong Kong, and with Arthur D. Little's (ADL) chemicals practice in Cambridge MA.
Elaine graduated from MIT with a degree in Chemical Engineering, and has an MBA from Stanford University.
Elaine is an active member of her community. She served as a member of the Board of Directors of the MIT Alumni Association and was selected by the Asia Society as one of Asia 21's Young Leaders.
