Dr. Dulce M. Arias Lizárraga has a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, Spain. She did a research stay at the Chemistry Department of the Universidade Nova de Lisboa, in Portugal. She was a full professor in the area of biotechnology at the Polytechnic University of the State of Morelos and is currently an assistant professor at the Institute for Renewable Energies-UNAM.
