Women contribute to the society at large in key leadership positions as more opportunities now become available. Similarly, in the renewable energy sector, women should aspire to become entrepreneurs, technologists as well as to be involved in research and development thereby contributing holistically.
I am the CEO of AGV Sustainability & ESG Services and the founding partner of AGV Energy & Technology in Malaysia. With over 25 years of consulting experience in environmental and sustainability consulting covering a wide range of sectors including solar, wind and hydroelectric projects and, having worked in more than 10 countries outside of Malaysia, I have in-depth knowledge on core subjects like climate change and renewable energy technologies. I have worked in more than 40 renewable energy projects in Malaysia as well as in India and SE Asia. The company I co-founded, AGV Energy is currently embarking on a green hydrogen project in collaboration with TNG Limited (a company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange) in Darwin, Northern Territory in Australia. We are currently in the pre-feasibility phase and are planning towards commissioning the plant in 2206/2207.
I have presented at many conferences in Malaysia but unfortunately they do not have links that I can submit. I have also presented a paper in Brazil during an environmental conference in 2013.
