Beatriz Bortoni

My name is Beatriz, I'm 23 years old and I recently graduated in International Relations, with an emphasis on Sustainability and the insertion of Cities and Subnational Agents in the International context. Throughout my degree, I gained significant experience, including practical internships at Agrosmart, a startup focused on promoting sustainable agriculture through technology. I also had the opportunity to work as an intern at the Municipal Department of Culture in Poços de Caldas and at the Federal University of Itajubá, where I got to know how politics works in practice in negotiations with the three powers that exist in Brazil. I was able to cooperate in the implementation of a Green Hydrogen Center in the municipality of Itajubá. These experiences, combined with my involvement in councils, have given me a comprehensive and practical view of environmental issues. In this context, as a woman, a recent graduate and a young person, I'm trying to insert myself into networks of professionals who are in places I want to be one day. I want to grow in the field of clean and renewable energy policies, to be able to learn and develop ideas together with other collaborators in this sector.
