Anne Held is Coordinator of Business Unit Renewable Energies. She has been a senior researcher and project manager in the Competence Center Energy Policy and Energy Markets at the Fraunhofer Institute for Systems and Innovation Research ISI since April 2013. Previously, she worked as a researcher at the European Commission’s Joint Research Centre Institute for Prospective and Technological Studies IPTS from 2011 to 2013 with a focus on energy system modelling and as a scientist at Fraunhofer ISI from 2005 to 2011. She studied at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and the University of Seville, Escuela Superior de Ingenieros (Spain). She holds a M.Sc. degree (Diplom) in industrial engineering and management from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology and a doctoral degree in Economics (Dr. rer. pol.) Since 2014, she has been a lecturer at the Karlshochschule International University, Karlsruhe.
