Professional experience in environmental management, especially the implementation of environmental management systems (according to EMAS and ISO 14.001). Managing Director, eco2050 Institute for Sustainability, Nuremberg (Germany).
Lecturing on “National Strategies & Sustainable Development”, “Digitalisation & Sustainability” and “Supply Chain Management”. From 2011 to 2014, Visiting Professor at the Summer University in Aarhus (Denmark) as well as in Sofia (Bulgaria) with the lecture “Sustainable Development and National Strategies”. In 2018, Visiting Professor at the School of Science and Technology in Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina) with the lecture “Digitalisation & Sustainability”.
From 1998 to 2021, Research Associate at the Chair of Information Systems at the Friedrich-Alexander-University of Erlangen-Nürnberg. My research areas concern green and orange hydrogen, decarbonization technologies, sustainable digitalisation, technological sustainability, sustainability management, national sustainability strategies, sharing economy, energy and resource efficiency, circular economy, resilience research in global systemic supply networks, cyber-physical systems as well as interdisciplinary topics from the fields of production, logistics, digitalisation and sustainability. Author of books and scientific articles.
