Workshop: Female leadership. What can organisations do to improve gender diversity in high-level positions in the hydrogen sector?
Date | 11 October 2022 |
Time | 13:30 – 15:30 CET |
Despite constituting 50% of the population, women hold just 10% of the executive roles in the renewable energy sector. Strengthening gender diversity in the energy sector requires long-term efforts. Yet, there is clearly strong evidence that companies who embrace more gender inclusive pathways for women in senior management will be better positioned to navigate the unprecedented and tumultuous changes of the low‑carbon transition.
This interactive workshop aims at providing a dynamic dialogue between women and men on the challenges and barriers, the lessons learnt, and the success stories of organisations who are pushing to close the gender gap at executive level.
How are these organisations supporting women leadership? What are the key actions to support women access to leadership positions? How are these organisations tackling the double bind?
To answer these questions we have invited executive female and male leaders of hydrogen companies who will share their experiences and best practices. The workshop will also allow for interactive exchanges between the participants aiming at facilitating an open discussion of key questions to be addressed for a more inclusive hydrogen sector.
