Julia Thalhammer is a scientific researcher in the field of materials science and engineering, currently working at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria in Wels. Since 2018, she has been part of the Research Group Computed Tomography and since 2023 at the H2 Research Center, where she investigates structural and mechanical material behavior. She completed her MSc at TU Wien and earned her PhD from Johannes Kepler University Linz, further strengthening her expertise in composites and non-destructive testing methods.
Her research contributions include multiple peer-reviewed publications focusing on X-ray computed tomography and materials performance under high-pressure hydrogen conditions. Through her work, she contributes to the development of safer and more efficient materials for future energy and industrial applications.
