Poornima Ravichandran is a Mechanical Engineer with over 18 years of international experience in process engineering, project execution, and management across EPCI, FEED, retrofit, and green hydrogen projects in the oil & gas and marine sectors. She has led multidisciplinary teams in designing and delivering LNG/NG systems, hydrogen fuel cell power modules, and offshore modifications for global clients including Equinor, Aker Solutions, Høglund Marine Solutions, and TECO 2030. Her expertise spans P&IDs, process simulations, PSV sizing, heat and mass balance, HAZOP, and system integration, with strong proficiency in Aspen HYSYS, Flarenet, and process safety. A graduate of NIT Warangal and HULT International Business School, she combines deep technical knowledge with leadership in innovation, sustainability, and marine energy transition projects.

The Women in Hydrogen Network plays a crucial role in driving diversity, inclusion, and innovation within the fast-growing hydrogen industry. It provides a global platform for professional women—from engineering, policy, research, and business—to connect, collaborate, and influence the energy transition.
