Nathalia Wolf

PhD(c) in computer science and MSc in industrial engineering with expertise in optimization. I have worked on making processes more sustainable, from manufacturing to data centers, and now focus on R&D for green hydrogen solutions. I am especially interested in contributing to the growth of green hydrogen in Chile.

It creates a space where women’s voices and expertise in green hydrogen are heard and amplified. That kind of support and visibility can change careers and the industry.

I grew up on an island in the south of Chile, the daughter of a farmer, where resourcefulness was a necessity. That mindset led me to study Industrial Engineering and later earn my MSc in the same field.

I started in the dairy industry, developing automation tools to make daily operations faster and more reliable. I then moved into public transport, creating optimization models to improve bus scheduling, and later managed SaaS development in the healthcare sector, coordinating teams to deliver tools for hospitals and clinics. The purpose behind my work has always mattered as much as the results.

Today, I divide my time between running my engineering solutions company in Chile and completing a PhD. Through my company, I transform research into decision-support tools that solve real-world problems, starting with the green hydrogen sector.

For me, engineering has always come first—science is how I make it better.
