Power Systems Engineer | Energy Analyst & Coordinator for Greenstat Center of Excellence for Hydrogen in Sri Lanka

Greenstat Hydrogen / Energy Analyst
Colombo

I am an experienced Electronics and Power Systems Engineer with a focus on Renewable Energy. Currently, I serve as an Energy Analyst and Coordinator for the Greenstat Center of Excellence for Hydrogen in Sri Lanka, where I oversee sustainable energy initiatives and promote gender diversity in the sector.

I am actively involved in projects aimed at advancing Sri Lanka’s green hydrogen landscape, including the development of a green hydrogen ecosystem for Trincomalee Port, in collaboration with Lanka IOC. This initiative seeks to position Sri Lanka as a leader in the green hydrogen market by reducing carbon emissions, stimulating economic growth, and fostering technological innovation. My work includes conducting feasibility studies, setting safety standards, and implementing pilot projects across various sectors, while developing a roadmap for future investments.

Another key project focuses on decarbonizing the transport sector through the transition to electric vehicles (EVs) and green hydrogen alternatives. This project addresses the integration of EVs into the transportation system, while evaluating necessary policies, technologies, and infrastructure for a successful transition.

Additionally, I organize free webinars to address knowledge gaps and raise awareness about green hydrogen and decarbonization in Sri Lanka.
