Passionate about electrochemistry and materials science, I am dedicated to shaping the world of tomorrow. With a strong foundation in chemistry from RWTH Aachen University, where I specialized in catalysis, computational chemistry and spectroscopy, I have focused my work at the intersection of innovation and sustainability. My research focuses on hydrogen production and power-to-x technologies, with a particular emphasis on high-temperature electrolysis. In my role at the DLR Institute of Engineering Thermodynamics, I manage a variety of international and interdisciplinary collaborations.
Throughout my career, I have been committed to mentoring and supporting the development of young scientists. By fostering an environment of curiosity and collaboration, I have helped young researchers refine their skills, cultivate their scientific interests and navigate the complexities of research.
