Seçil Ünsal Dayanik

Postdoctoral Research Fellow at University College London

Secil is a passionate researcher with a Ph.D. in electrochemistry from ETH Zurich and Paul Scherrer Institute, specializing in hydrogen fuel cell and electrolyser technologies. She has an in-depth understanding of various electrochemical energy conversion and storage devices along with 5 years of experience in membrane electrode assembly (MEA) development, single cell testing and electrochemical diagnostics. Her current research at University College London (UCL) focuses on developing strategies to prepare catalyst coated membranes (CCMs) for both proton exchange and anion exchange membrane (PEM and AEM) electrolysers with high performance and investigating electrodes' behaviour and stability by using electrochemical techniques. She's also thrilled about continuous learning and exploring new sustainable technologies.
