Sabina is a Principal and co-founder of Zen Clean Energy Solutions, a boutique Vancouver-based consulting firm specializing in hydrogen and fuel cells. She has over 23 years experience working in the clean energy sector spanning a range of roles from technology and product development, to product management and corporate development. Sabina leads Zen’s project management branch, with a focus on consortium-based projects deploying zero emission technologies and infrastructure. She has led projects related to hydrogen production, fueling infrastructure, and transportation applications in Canada and the US. Sabina recently led Zen’s work to develop the Hydrogen Strategy for Canada on behalf of the Government of Canada, and previously led the BC Hydrogen Study in 2019. As a thought leader in the hydrogen sector, Sabina has spoken at a wide range of conferences and events.

Prior to joining Zen, Sabina was with Ballard Power Systems for 18 years where she held a range of technical and commercial roles, including Director of Product Engineering.

Sabina is a registered professional engineer in the Province of British Columbia, and holds a degree in mechanical engineering from the University of British Columbia, and an Executive Certificate in Strategy & Innovation from MIT Sloan.
