Nuria studied Macroeconomics with the specialization of Energy Economics and Regional Studies of Latin America at the University of Cologne, Germany.

Since 2013, Nuria is based in Santiago de Chile, where she has worked as an environmental consultant for both the public and private sector. As a Senior Consultant at PriceWaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Chile, from 2013-2015 Nuria realized diverse projects related to Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency, especially for Mining companies, incluing the elaboration of Marginal Abatement Cost Courves for emission, water and energy reductions.

As project manager at the Chilean office of the Konrad-Adenauer-Foundation in Chile, Nuria from 2016-2018 realized multiple projects in collaboration with different institutions, including Ministries, Municipalities, Universities and NGOs.

Since 2018, Nuria has worked as an independent consultant in topics related to energy and sustainability. Among others, she participated within the Proposal for a National Strategy for the development of a renewable Hydrogen Market for the Energy Ministry of Chile and was (co-)author of different publications related to renewable energies, public transport in Chile, smart city solutions and green infrastructure. Nuria is also an independent consultant for the GIZ in H2 related topics, where she has supported initiatives in Brasil and currently in South Africa.

Since February 2021, Nuria is part of the HINICIO Team in Chile where she is leading several hydrogen projects, especially related to strategy services.

Nuria speaks fluent Spanish, German, English and Portuguese.
