EIL engineering standards, considered to be of benchmark value in oil and gas industry standards. I have originated many EIL standards and have been part of review committee of EIL standards.
Significantly contributed towards indigenization of Indian industry by evaluation, enlistment and development of vendor manufacturing facilities to meet safety and reliability requirements of oil and gas industry.

Having grown through the ranks at EIL, beginning at Management Trainee I have full spectrum experience of being a hands on worker, managing teams, anchoring internal initiatives, handling large client accounts, extensive business development, owning a P&L and acting in leadership capacity. In line with EIL’s vision for multi-skilling of leaders, I am the only professional in EIL’s history who has extensive multifunctional experience of Project Management, Engineering Management, Instrumentation Engineering and Electrical Engineering.
Select challenging engagements that I have successfully delivered or under execution include:
Conceptualisation, planning execution strategy and implementation of Utilities and Offsites facilities for 9 MMTPA Refinery and 1.06 MMTPA Petrochemical for Rajasthan Refinery Project.
Dahej Petrochemical complex, a 4.2 Billion USD project, with 1100 kTPA Dual feed cracker, downstream polymer units and utilities and offsite facilities, was running behind schedule, I was selected by management to lead this and drive course correction. Through a slew of innovative project management initiatives such as managing contractual anomalies, enabling financing for contractors and resolutions of technical conflicts, I was able to steer the project back in direction. Within one year, the plant moved towards commissioning phase. Cracker and downstream units were commissioned in Feb, 17.
Successful execution of 1.8 MMBOPD, 600 Million USD Qusahwira Oil field Project of ADCO, Abu Dhabi consisting of 43 oil wells. Flow lines, Central Degassing station, Remote degassing station and cross country pipelines. EIL management decided to assign this project to me as it was of strategic importance for EIL’s business prospects in the Middle East. Project has been successfully commissioned with minimum problems during construction and appreciation from ADCO for exceptional quality of Engineering.
Capacity enhancement of existing Crude Distillation unit and downstream expansion of existing Kochi Refinery with space constraint, optimum utilization of existing facilities and short shutdown allowed for final stages of construction and commissioning was a challenge well accomplished.

Project management of 690 Million USD EPC contracts of Refinery process units CDU/VDU, DCU and VGO for Rajasthan Refinery Project of HRRL.
Execution-in-charge for completion of the following 400 Million USD projects:
-Onshore terminal facilities of ONGC Kakinada, CBM processing facility at ONGC Bokaro and closing of ONGC Madnam.
- ISRO Semi cryogenic Engine testing facility, Cryogenic Engine testing facility and Wind tunnel projects.
- Improvement of Mussafah Terminal Firefighting facilities, Abu Dhabi.

Green Energy transition
Led the development of proposals for Pre-feasibility, Front end Engineering, Financial investment decision cost of the Projects like green Ammonia, e-Methanol, e-Ethanol and green Hydrogen production projects, from initial concept to final submission for several clients.
This involves conceptualizing the necessary infrastructure requirements, site selection, equipment procurement, and construction plan including outline the proposed timeline and milestones for the development of the facilities. Developed insight into Electrolyser designs, balance of plant, Hydrogen storage, layout engineering, safety considerations and large power system design.
Technical and contractual resolutions for ongoing PX/ PTA and Polypropylene projects of IOCL.

Engineering, Procurement and Construction management of Mumbai Refinery Expansion project of HPCL from 7.5 to 9.5 MMTPA and fuel up gradation to BS-VI with Revamp of APS, NHT-CCR,NHT-ISOM,DHDT and new VPS,HGU and PRU. Construction of new Tank Farms and marketing facility with project cost of 600 Million USD.
Distillate Yield Improvement Project of Haldia refinery of IOCL involving Project management, planning, scheduling, monitoring, project engineering, procurement, expediting for supply of equipments and materials, construction and contract management. Responsible for execution of projects within prescribed cost, time & quality.
Project management consultancy for execution of a 366 MW captive power plant involving three 102 MW Gas turbine Generators, Steam Turbine Generators, HRSG, Boilers for Paradip Refinery of IOCL. Plant has been commissioned.
PMC for 1900 Km pipeline Mallawaram to Bhilwara involving tendering and bid evaluation.
KG Basin 800 Km of pipeline replacement and Gas quality up-gradation for prevention of pipe corrosion for GAIL.
Development and technical co-ordination for the proposed 1300 Km Middle East to India deep sea pipeline of SAGE.
Engineering, Procurement and Construction of Rocket engine testing facility of ISRO.
